Level 1 provides students with a general background in Emergency Response Career Pathways. Students are given the opportunity to study and experience different careers including Firefighting, Paramedicine, and Police and Security Services allowing them to make an informed decision regarding their future. Students will be certified in Intermediate First Aid (Level C CPR and AED). Students must be 17 years of age, turning 18 before Level 2 semester.

Fees: ERCP uniform shirt at around $20. Students must supply personal black pants, a black belt, and black shoes. Additional certifications are available at a fee as listed in the link below. We utilize the Don Wheaton YMCA for daily fitness and students will need to purchase memberships at approximately $105 per semester (payable directly to YMCA and subject to change).
All students must complete a medical release being able to participate in physical activity and obtain a criminal check in class to participate in the course.
