Anatomy & Physiology

Course Description:

This course covers all the organ systems in the human body including the digestive, urinary, nervous, endocrine, immune, respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and reproduction. Students acquire the attitude, skills and knowledge for achieving and maintaining a healthy body. Students also gain an appreciation for practicing a healthy lifestyle as it pertains to the individual, family, peers and community. This course is equivalent to a first year anatomy course at a post-secondary institution and will give students an advantage in their first year of post-secondary education. A total of 12 credits can be earned in this course.
