Audio Engineering 35

Course Description:

Students who have completed Audio Engineering 15 may continue their progression by taking Audio 25 and/or Audio 35. These courses build on the foundational skills learned in Audio 15 and extend the application of the techniques to new situations. In Audio 35, an emphasis will be placed on audio production for visual media. Students will learn to create sounds and sound effects from scratch using industry leading programs. They will also focus on applying sound effects and sound tracks to video productions while practicing the art of dialogue replacement and foley. ProTools will be our main canvas for this course as we focus on employable skills necessary for success in careers in Video Post Production, Television and Film as well as Video Game audio production while students create a professional audio portfolio.
