Course Description:

Audio Engineering 35 - Audio for Film & Television


Students who have completed Audio Engineering 25 may continue their progression by taking Audio 35.  This course builds on the foundational skills learned in Audio 15 and 25 while extending the application of the techniques to the world of Audio Post Production for Visual Media.  

Students will learn to develop their artistic vision by applying sound effects and soundtracks to video productions while practicing the art of dialogue replacement and foley recording.  Careful attention will be placed on common industry processes and conventions.

Students will learn to create sounds and sound effects from scratch using industry leading programs.   

ProTools will be our main canvas for this course as we focus on employable skills necessary for success in careers in Video Post Production, Television and Film as well as Video Game audio production while students add to their professional audio portfolio. 

Attendance is mandatory.
