Course Description:

Gain a true insight into the careers that work with children and people with special needs with a variety of guest speakers. Try out experiences working with children in workplace settings through the volunteer component. You will examine various barriers to learning and the technologies that can be used to support personalized, authentic learning and overcome those barriers. Research, explore and gain familiarity with both current and emerging assistive and adaptive technologies. Explore your interests and become more aware of the practical and day-to-day realities and demands in an inclusive world. You will also plan for your post-secondary and career journey.
